June 14 - 21, 2015. Travel to Guanahacabibes National Park, the island's westernmost point to look for green sea turtles and swim crystal blue waters. You'll meet local scientists, enjoy Havana, and explore the beautiful rural countryside. 

Join us for a unique exploration of Cuba's natural side! The trip will spend time in fascinating Havana and exploring the countryside of Pinar del Rio, Cuba's most fertile province. This trip is a partnership between Cuba Marine Research and Conservation Program (a non-profit with more than 15 years experience working on conservation efforts in Cuba), Altruvistas (a socially responsible operator who has sent travelers to Cuba for more than a decade) and SEE Turtles (a sea turtle conservation project based in Beaverton, Oregon). $3,420 (approximate). Includes: airfare from Miami, accommodations, most meals, guides, entrance fees, and more. (Round trip airfare from Miami to Havana $480 value, all accommodations in Havana, Las Terrazas, and Guanahacabibes, traditional Cuban meals, local guide and transportation, private bus, from Havana to Las Terrazas and Guanahacabibes, all activities including turtle research observation, hikes, snorkeling (diving costs extra), cave exploration, and more, along with Cuban tourist visa and health insurance). Does not include airport taxes, fees, surcharges, and personal expenses.
