There are many beneficial reasons to forage edible food in your neighborhood. Get free food, connect with nature, or find medicines that can be produced in your kitchen. Eating wild food gives us a greater appreciation of our role in nature.

We will be meeting twice, once in a classroom and once at Mt. Talbert Nature Reserve. The first class will meet to discuss: what is foraging, brief local histlroy of gathering and gleaning, seasonal considerations, environmental challenges, and where to look.
