Photographing people, creating images that capture personality, is one of the most difficult types of photography. Proper use of lighting to enhance the scene often makes the difference between a snap shot and a beautiful photograph. Learn how to help people to relax in front of a camera. Pre-visualize the image by understanding how to meter correctly, select proper F-stop and shutter speed and minimize distracting elements. Create simple and inexpensive reflectors and modifiers. Suitable for anyone with a basic knowledge of adjustable cameras.
