Builds therapeutic and professional skills to work in pediatric, geriatric, developmental disabilities, psychiatric and offender programs. Includes advanced skills in designing and evaluating 12 month therapeutic activities and programming for frail elderly, pediatric, developmentally disabled, neurologically impaired and other special needs populations. Focuses on professional skill mastery and continuing education planning. Students must have completed GRN 270 or the equivalent course offered through the Legacy Therapeutic Horticulture Program.
