Introduces graphic literature, fiction and nonfiction, in a variety of genre and formats. Covers the basics of literary and visual conventions to read and comprehend graphic texts. Includes: the selection, acquisition, organization and circulation of graphic literature in library collections; the integration of this literature in classroom instruction k-12; and the promotion with students in school libraries and adults in public libraries.
