This course covers NFPA 1021, Chapters 4.2 and 5.2 and will involve human resources to accomplish assignments in accordance with safety plans and in an efficient manner. Also involves evaluating personnel performance and supervising personnel during emergency and non-emergency work periods. You will need to have a working knowledge of word processing programs to retrieve and send emails, create spreadsheets and to generate professional proposals and presentations. PREREQUISITE: FP 111, MATH 65, READING 115, WRITING 121 REQUIRED TEXT(S) FIRE SERVICE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT THIRD EDITION BY STEVEN T. EDWARDS Assignments You will have 4 assignments that must be completed during the week. There are 7 discussions that will be graded. Week 1 has two. Weeks 3, 4, 5, and 7 each have one.
