Explore the creative possibilities of your digital camera. Delve into composition, camera settings, flash modes. People, nature and night photography, etc. Bring your camera and manual.
This class is a combination of instruction in using various settings with your camera, and then applying these techniques to photo sessions in the classroom and in the Hollywood District. We will also cover the use of exposure modes, compositional use of depth of field with aperture settings and focal lengths, filters, creative use of white balance etc. Image review and discussion using weekly student submissions is an essential aspect of this class.
