Covers fundamental concepts of mechanics relating to forces acting on rigid bodies. Includes problems involving actions and reactions on structures and machines in two and three dimensions. Also covers friction, moments of inertia, and centroids. Corequisite: CMET 111. Prerequisite or concurrent: CMET 112. Prerequisites: MTH 60 and placement in WR 115. Department approval required.
