ART240B Digital Photography II

Explores the boundaries of digital photography to include a more personal practice while placing work within a historical, social and cultural context. Develops the critical skills necessary to expand perceptual and visual cultural awareness by using a broad range of advanced digital processes and concepts. Encourages further development of a professional photographic practice. Requires access to a camera with manual exposure controls, DSLR (digital single-lens-reflex) cameras are preferred. This is the second course in a three-course sequence for second year digital photography. Prerequisite: One term of ART 240 or ART 240A or instructor permission.
