Portland Community College | Portland, Oregon

Join this community of painters who work on individual projects. Focus on encouraging individual style. Students of all levels, beginners welcome.

This class is a continuous working group of students who find the guidance of an instructor and supportive class helps their creative development. The class is individually geared to each student, from students with advanced training to total novice students painting their first work. Students choose their medium, subject focus and style of work. The atmosphere is all about moving ahead in one's techniques and understanding. There is a strong emphasis on color theory, composition and use of lights and darks for effective paintings. If you already have supplies, bring them to the first class.
