MCH180 Turning Machines & Operations
Covers setup, applications, parts and operation of the various types of lathes. Introduces the commonly performed operations of drilling, reaming, counterboring, countersinking, spotfacing, tapping, maintaining/aligning, parallel turning, facing, filing, knurling, grooving, cutting radii, cutting tapers, and parting on the various types of turning machines used to produce part features to print specifications.
