Covers instruction and practice in working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, formulas, inch and metric systems, formulas, calculating simple and direct indexing. Introduces how to apply the use of the inch/metric systems, dividing/index head and formulas as they pertain to thread calculations, gear calculations, speed and feed calculations, and taper calculations.
