FP232 Fire App Driver/Operator II
Covers practical procedures, techniques, and safety precautions used during apparatus operations. Includes the history and development of fire apparatus capabilities, pump construction, procedures for operation and hydraulic formulas used to calculate flow requirements. Knowledge and skills acquired during classroom instruction will be applied in drill ground operations. Prerequisite: FP 200. (For detailed information, see the Course Content and Outcome Guide ).
