CEU917N CNA 1 Nursing Assistant Training

An orientation session is REQUIRED for the CNA 1 training program and must be attended before the first day of class. There are no exceptions to this rule. Visit www.pcc.edu/cna1 for orientation dates, times, and more information. 

The program is approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. It provides 75 hours of classroom instruction and 75 hours of clinical practicum for a total of 150 hours of training. The class portion consists of lecture, class discussion, and lab time to learn and demonstrate skills. Clinical practicum is held in skilled nursing facilities, with an optional hospital clinical. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the state competency examination. The OSBN requires an orientation session prior to the first day of class. There is no charge for the orientation and no need to register. Orientation dates and times are in the brochure. There is no full refund for the training once the class starts. To receive a full refund, students must drop the training no later than the day before the first day of class.
