This American Heart Association course focuses on assessment of pre-arrest states and prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest in children. Skills stations are used to teach effective pediatric interventions. Online pretest included w/text. Required text: PALS Provider Manual (c 2011) and optional, but highly recommended, AHA Handbook of Emergency Cardiac Care, available at PCC Sylvania Campus bookstore, 971-722-4910.
