Renewal in evaluation & management of the adult acute cardiac event. Required: Basic ECG interpretation skills.This course reviews the current AHA ACLS skills and guidelines so that you can renew your card. You must show a current AHA ACLS card at class; non-AHA cards are not accepted. (Optional BLS renewal follows course.) Online pretest is included w/text. Required text: ACLS Provider Manual (c 2011) Optional, but highly recommended: AHA Handbook of Emergency Cardiac Care. Books are available at PCC Sylvania Campus bookstore, 971-722-4910. Employees of area hospitals DO NOT use the following course numbers, please contact your Education Department regarding eligibility for payment of your tuition by your employer.
