This 4-hour course is for the well-prepared student who knows and uses ACLS routinely. It includes only minimal in-class practice and focuses on skills and knowledge evaluations only. You must show a current AHA ACLS card at class; non-AHA cards are not accepted. Online pretest is included w/text. Required text: ACLS Provider Manual (c 2011) Optional, but highly recommended: AHA Handbook of Emergency Cardiac Care. Books are available at PCC Sylvania Campus bookstore, 971-722-4910. Employees of area hospitals DO NOT use the following course numbers; please contact your Education Department regarding eligibility for payment of your tuition by your employer.

NOTE: Optional BLS Update (Renewal) is NOT available with this course.
