Consider the eastern medicine framework for viewing nutrition, i.e., how the main TCM organs impact the digestion system and their absorption/usage of food and nutrients. Also learn Chinese concepts of body typing and methods of nutritional assessment. Integrate nomenclature, methodology and procedures of Traditional Chinese Medicine toward understanding impaired metabolism and nutrient actions.
