Obstetrical patients present unique challenges when experiencing a cardiac event. This course teaches the AHA guidelines using case scenarios involving a pregnant or newly delivered patient. An AHA ACLS card is issued upon successful completion. Required text: current ACLS Provider Manual and optional, but highly recommended, AHA Handbook of Emergency Cardiac Care, available at PCC Sylvania Campus ONLY, 971-722-4910. Required online pretest included w/text on CD. Required ACLS OB manual supplied in class.
