Explores ceramic processes, techniques and concepts while addressing historical and contemporary issues. Develops and encourages creative problem solving by utilizing various ceramic techniques. Includes critiques, discussions, and ceramic presentations to establish critical skills necessary to evaluate ceramics, explore artistic intent, examine structural solutions, and expand perceptual awareness.
