ART140 Digital Photography I
Introduces digital photography as it relates to creative arts, history, media and culture in both a historical and contemporary context. Includes critiques, discussions, and presentations to establish critical skills necessary to evaluate prints, explore artistic intent, examine aesthetic and structural solutions and expand perceptual awareness. Requires access to a camera with manual exposure controls, DSLR (digital single-lens-reflex) cameras are preferred. Recommended: ART 141 or ART 142. Audit available.
