Pre-requisite: This course is intended only for individuals who (1) have work experience in the medical office, hospital, urgent care clinic, outpatient center or other professional healthcare facility, and (2) currently employed in a healthcare environment WHERE THEY HAVE ACCESS AND PERMISSION TO PERFORM SUPERVISED BLOOD DRAWS. For questions about pre-requisite, email climbhealth@pcc.edu Phlebotomists collect and process blood specimens from patients. Text(s) required. CLIMB's 45-hr Phlebotomy for Health Professionals course is offered in a hybrid format with 40 hours of the class offereed in a lab setting and 5 hours through self-directed study.
