Learn to create simple websites using web editors. Utilize HTML and CSS features to create a small site. Use photo-editing utilities to optimize images for the Web. Build on Basics of Web Design concepts in using CSS and HTML. 

Build on Basics of Web Design concepts (level 2). Learn more about using CSS and HTML to create simple Web sites with and without Web editors. Explore the pros and cons of using various Web editors to speed up the design process. Optimize images for the Web using photo-editing utilities. This is a hands-on class which will cover intermediate concepts of HTML and CSS, and introduces the use of simple JQuery scripts. Perfect for those who would like to get started with Web design (for fun and profit) beyond using pre-made templates. Concepts learned apply to both Mac and PC users. Must have Internet access outside of class. During class time we will use Windows-based computers. Please sign up at least 2 days prior to the start of class.
