PHL207 Ethical Issues in Aging
This course will investigate central ethical issues pertaining to the care of elderly patients. Students will become more familiar with various ethical principles and frameworks and then apply these to various ethical issues and dilemmas that arise in caring for the elderly. Students will learn how to identify ethical issues in caring for the elderly and become more proficient in ethical decision making in order to render well-reasoned ethical decisions regarding care for the elderly. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores. Audit available. (For detailed information, see the Course Content and Outcome Guide ).
