MCH195 Threading on the Lathe
Covers setup, applications and operation of single point threading and geometric forming heads for the production of single and multiple lead threads. Introduces cutting, chasing, rolling and forming production of single and multiple lead threads. Also covers cutting, chasing, rolling and forming of internal/external threads on the lathe and drill press by using a single point cutting tool, tap or geometric thread cutting/rolling head on nuts, bolts, fasteners, castings and machined parts to print specifications.
