Covers prevention and rehabilitation of athletics/sports/fitness injuries. Emphasizes preventing injuries by reducing risks for injury or illness, creating safe environments, ensuring proper fit, using sporting equipment properly, and implementing emergency action plans. Students who satisfactorily complete the requirements will be eligible for first responder certifications (i.e. CPR, first aid, etc.).
