From the Instructor:
Welcome to HIM 128, Human Anatomy and Physiology for Health Information Management! This is a highly visual course! If your learning style requires more hands-on methods for success, you might consider an anatomy and physiology course with a lab component. Check with the HIM chair for appropriate alternatives.
Course Specific Requirements:
The course is based around readings of the textbook Visual Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology, 1st ed., by Martini et al., published by Pearson. You are welcome to buy either the stand-alone book, the e-book, or the version packaged with a CD and MasteringA&P access. The latter will not be required but are definitely useful study tools.
