Course Specific Requirements:
Note: This course will be using Desire2Learn, PCC's Learning Management Software to deliver online courses. It is the Student's responsibility to have the appropriate computer access/program, i.e., Google Chrome (highly suggested), Firefox, or IE .

1. Should have computer/internet experience and accessibility.

2. Must be able to access and submit current MS Word Excel forms! MS Word Excel required.

3. Suggest completing Desire2Learn online orientation before taking, if not familiar with D2L.

4. All materials/information is within course. No outside text required.

5. Fitness testing will be required, and students with physical issues that may affect such testing should have a statement from the Office for Students with Disabilities.

Important Note: This instructor is very specific with requirements. Read previous student's comments on www.ratemyprofessors.com for a better idea.

1. Student will have access to materials in this course early on the first day of the term, when Desire2Learn technicians load students into it. Begin chosen fitness work during the first week.

2. Pre-fitness testing will be done on own, in own testing site (private gym, home, etc.). There will be no on-campus meeting nor on-campus orientation. (See # 5 above.)

3. By the end of the third week, complete the pre-fitness testing, health forms, discussions (2), continue the weekly fitness emails with attached Excel fitness logs (3xs a week for at least 60 min. per time, plus HR) and other pertinent information discussed in the Start Here Section found after the Intro to Online Learning , in Locker Room #1, and in the Weekly Fitness Log Instructions.

4. If having problems with form submissions, etc., check with the Student Help Desk for Desire2Learn. Waiting too long or not checking in may cause issues in continuing in the course. (See #5 below!)

5. By end of the third week, to continue in this section (CRN), student will need to have completed all the listed requirements in #3 above. If not, student will not pass course, but may remain to access course materials.


Note: As stated, this course requires on-going weekly fitness activity email reports with fitness Excel form attached, from the first week, Excel form submissions, testing, reading, and other term requirements. All materials (no outside text needed)are contained within course, including selected websites.
