From the Instructor:
The Distance Learn will be conducted using Desire2Learn (D2L) software.
Course Specific Requirements:
Required Text: The text for this course is: Computer Systems: A Programmers Perspective by Randal E. Bryant and David R. OHallaron. It is available at the PCC bookstore. Make sure to make note of the textbook site errata page. There's quite a list, with some pretty serious errors in the book. When you read something and it doesn't make sense, check the errata pages. An 'optional textbook' for the C language is The C Programming Language, 2nd Edition by Brian W. Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. You are not required to buy this book, but it's a good one to have if you need a C reference. This book was originally published in 1978 and went mainstream in 1998.
