From the Instructor:
You will be exercising on your own and reporting your workouts online. There are assignment requirements to learn about monitoring intensity (heart rate), goal-setting, and fitness program design. In addition, you will participate in discussions with classmates online.
Course Specific Requirements:
There is a required Instructor Email assignment (from within Desire2Learn) and Intro Quiz by the first Thursday of the term. The textbook is optional but it will help you with your fitness program design. All written and electronic materials you need are posted online. You will need a workout space at home or a fitness club. You can utilize fitness facilities at PCC during the open recreational times.
