From the Instructor:
Hospice care has been my passion for over 26 years. I have received uncountable rewards from my labors with colleagues, patients and their families. Working directly with hospice patients and their families is perhaps the best way to learn the realities with which patients and their families have to deal as they confront life-limiting illness. This work is rich with opportunities both to serve others and to deepen one's own appreciation of the complexities surrounding the end of life. This is the place to discover if your passion really is serving people who are living at the margins of earthly existence and those who care for them. I look forward to working with you in the coming term.
