MTH65 Introductory Algebra-2nd Term
Introduces algebraic concepts and processes with a focus on functions, linear systems, polynomials, and quadratic equations. Applications, graphs, functions, formulas, and proper mathematical notation are emphasized throughout the course. A scientific calculator is required. The TI-30X II is recommended. Prerequisites: (MTH 60 or MTH 62) and (RD 80 or ESOL 250) Audit available. (For detailed information, see the Course Content and Outcome Guide ).

- This course has two required on campus exams. The first exam is on April 19th from noon to 2 pm. The second exam is the final exam on June 11th from noon to 2 pm. Both exams are held at the Sylvania Campus. Students registered for this class must be able to attend these manditory exams. My Math Lab is required for this course. Purchasing a new book is the most cost effective option for this course because new books come with the My Math Lab access code.
