Course Specific Requirements:
Note: This course will be using Desire2Learn, our Learning Management Software at PCC that is used to deliver online courses. To login to your course, please go to: https://my.pcc.edu and click on the Desire2Learn login link on the left of your MyPCC homepage. INFORMATION ABOUT THIS COURSE:

1. Must have computer/internet experience and accessibility.

2. Must be able to access and submit current MS Word Excel forms! MS Word Excel required. MS Works not acceptable.

3. Strongly suggest completing Desire2Learn online orientation before taking this section.

Grading: If you are taking this section, it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED that you choose the Pass/NoPass option.

Important Note: This instructor is very specific with requirements. Please read the comments on www.ratemyprofessors.com and you will have a better idea. I want to be very upfront about what is expected! If you are using this course as your 12th hour for financial aid, be aware that if you do not complete the requirements, you will receive an F (which will affect your grade point) or a NP (which won't affect your grade point)--no exceptions!

1. You will not have access to any material in this course until 8am of the first day of the term, when Desire2Learn technicians load students into it. You must begin your fitness work during the first week.

2. Once you begin, this course requires that the pre-fitness testing be done on your own, in your own testing site (private gym, home, etc.). There will be no on-campus meeting nor on-campus orientation.

3. By the end of the third week, complete the pre-fitness testing, health forms, discussions (2), continue the weekly fitness emails with attached Excel fitness logs (3xs a week for at least 60 min. per time) and other pertinent information discussed in the Start Here Section found after the Intro to Online Learning , in Locker Room #1, and in the Weekly Fitness Log Instructions.

4. If having problems with form submissions, etc., first and foremost check with the Help Desk for Desire2Learn. Waiting too long or not checking in may cause issues in continuing in the course. (See #5!)

5. By the end of the third week, to continue in this section (CRN), you will need to have completed all the listed requirements in #3 above. If not, you will receive an email stating that you should withdraw from the course, as passing will not be possible.

********************************************************

Note: This course requires on-going weekly fitness activity email reports with fitness Excel form attached, from the first week, Excel form submissions, testing, reading, and other term requirements. If you have questions regarding testing or other concerns, please contact me before the end of the third week at mail to: mhumphre@pcc.edu . Office hours will be posted within the course material. Thank you!
