From the Instructor:
Welcome to the Internet!

You will never need to drive to a college campus to take an exam because everything is done on the computer. You will also be given the opportunity to complete the class ahead of schedule if this is an attractive option!

Many of you are continuing from the BA 212 Internet class, but I'm sure there are also many of you who are taking an accounting class on the Internet for the first time.

Anyway, you will be learning about managerial accounting and how accounting information is used to help make management decisions.

You will learn about analyzing cost behavior, product costing, cost-volume-profit relationships, budgeting, activity based costing, using relevant costs to make decisions, and capital budgeting using present value analysis.

I hope all of you find this an educational and enjoyable way to learn the principles of accounting using your computer.

You will never have to step foot on a college campus, because the orientation, chapter quizzes, weekly homework assignments, the midterm exam, and the final exam can all be taken in the comfort of your home or office using only your computer. You can complete this course from any place around the world.

This course will be using Desire2Learn, our Learning Management Software at PCC that is used to deliver online courses.

To login to your course, please go to: https://my.pcc.edu and click on the Desire2Learn login link on the left of your MyPCC homepage.
