Expands ways of seeing and elaborates on intermediate painting techniques, materials, and concepts while relating to historical and contemporary issues. Presents a conceptual framework for critical analysis along with basic art theory. Prerequisites: Two terms of ART 281 or ART 281B or instructor permission.
