PCC: SAFE (Sexual Assault Free Environment)
Sylvania CC 268 | 971-722-8101 | Rut Martinez-Alicea
The Sylvania WRC's newest program
PCC: SAFE is the only program of its kind at a community college in the United States. PCC: SAFE is a comprehensive educational and outreach program that benefits students, staff and faculty. We promote a Sexual Assault Free Environment so that sexual violence is not a deterrent to pursue educational and professional goals.
Participants develop skills for bystander interventions before sexual violence takes place. Our programming augments opportunities for men to engage in the prevention of sexual violence. Our work increases understanding and changes socially accepted beliefs and attitudes that perpetuate a sexually unsafe environment in and around PCC.
