Image Alignment Styles

In order to properly align your images, you should not simply apply a left, center, or right alignment as you might expect. Instead, you will need to employ a style on your images. There are three styles that can be applied to images to control the alignment. In order to apply them, select the image after you have inserted it into your site, then click the Format menu, go to Style, then choose the appropriate img style from the sub-menu. The available styles are as follows:

  • imgleft: Floats the image left and pads it from the surrounding text. A 1-pixel black border is also applied.
  • imgright: Floats the image right and pads it from the surrounding text. A 1-pixel black border is also applied.
  • imgcenter: Places the image in the center, pushing text above and below. A 1-pixel black border is also applied.

Image Editing

Contribute gives you the ability to perform basic editing on your images from within the Contribute program. For information on how to do this, see the Inline Image Editing article on Adobe's website.
