Volunteer Literacy Tutor Fund
The Volunteer Literacy Tutor Program Fund is administered by the Portland Community College Foundation. All donations to the fund are tax deductible. Funds are dispersed for instructional materials or other program needs.
Program Needs
Your donation will help fund materials needed for students and tutors. Appropriate instructional materials are critical to the success of the educational experience for both the tutor and the student. We maintain a lending library of texts and resources at each VLT site. In addition, consumable instructional packets developed for different levels and skill areas are provided to tutors and students. Your donation is tax deductible and will go directly to the purchase of instructional materials for literacy students who are receiving volunteer tutoring.
