- Before visiting the Student Success Center, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with these simple policies.
This video was created in 2005. The math coordinator is now Heiko Spoddeck. Physical science (physics, chemistry, and geology) tutoring has moved to AM 107, and life science tutoring (e.g., biology, Anatomy and Physiology) is now in HT 207.
English Skills Center

- English Conversation Group
- Drop in on the free Conversation Group in the Student Success Center Monday through Wednesday, 12 noon to 1pm. (Group is most appropriate for students at ESOL level 4 or higher.)
- Self-Paced English Classes for 0, 1, 2, and 3 Credits
- Take an English class at your own pace. Contact us for more information.
- Free English Workshops
- Designed to help students brush up on their English grammar, writing, and communication skills.
- Tutoring in Business Communications, Spanish, Philosophy, Japanese and History
- Check the tutoring hours for these subjects and come by for help.
- Conversation Partner Program
- Participants wanted for the English Conversation Partner Program! Sign up as a volunteer or a student who speaks English as a non-native language and wants to practice conversation skills.

- Math Work-study and Volunteer tutor positions available
