Credit Equivalencies for Military Training
PCC equivalencies can be granted for formal military courses after careful evaluation of transcripts, records and information provided in the “Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services”.
Rules
- Block credit is not granted and only the subject areas taught by PCC will be considered.
- For credit in professional/technical programs, the department chair of the program will determine equivalencies. and/or the chair may contact the Graduation Office for confirmation.
- Two credits hours of Physical Education may be granted for military training. A copy of the DD 214 is required.
- Complete and submit the Military Credit Request Form.
Obtain Transcripts
In order to transfer credits to PCC, official transcripts (college and military) must be submitted to Student Records before your third term of certifications by the PCC Veterans Office. See Transferring credits from another institution to PCC for instructions on how to do this.
