Financial Aid Enrollment
In most cases your original financial aid award will reflect full-time enrollment for the full academic year. If you will not be attending every term of the year, please complete a revision request form to notify our office. We will revise your award to reflect the terms you will be enrolled. Enrollment less than full time may cause financial aid funds to be reduced or canceled. Your actual financial aid eligibility will be based on your enrollment at the end of the first week of the term, or at the time of disbursement if you accepted your award after the end of the first week.
- Full-time:
- 12 or more credits
- 3/4 time:
- 9 - 11 credits
- 1/2 time:
- 6-8 credits
- 1/4 time:
- 1-5 credits
Concurrent Enrollment
Federal regulations restrict the receipt of financial aid funds to attendance at one institution. Under certain conditions, students may be concurrently enrolled at two or more institutions, but may only receive aid at one institution. This is an individual agreement between one student and more than one institution, allowing PCC to combine enrollment from multiple institutions and have one school pay financial aid based on the combined enrollment. Concurrent enrollment requires an institutional Consortium Agreement, signed by institutions, proof of registration, and a grade transcript from each institution. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing. Agreements cannot be processed the same day submitted.
*Students receiving their aid from Portland Community College must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at the time that they submit their concurrent enrollment form.
