Direct Deposit enables you to have your financial aid refund directly deposited to your personal checking or saving account. Direct Deposit is not available for students attending Tillamook Bay or Columbia Gorge Community College.

Complete the FA Direct form (available online and at any PCC business office) with a voided blank check prior to the Friday before the term begins. Direct deposits occur in advance so cashiers cannot issue a refund check at the window. PCC reserves the right to reverse deposits made in error. In any unusual circumstances regarding your deposit, PCC will attempt to contact you. Be sure to verify with your bank that the deposit has been made before you draw funds. PCC is not responsible for any return check charges. FA Direct authorizations are good until cancelled in writing. Cancellation requests must be made 10 days in advance of the financial aid disbursement date. Funds transfer occurs as follows:

Deposit to US Bank:

  • First disbursement: Wednesday of third week
  • 30-Day Delay or late disbursements: Within 48 hours of disbursement

Deposit to Other Banks:

  • First disbursement: Wednesday or Thursday of the 3rd week
  • 30-Day Delay or late disbursements: Within 48-72 hours of disbursement

To set up FA Direct Deposit

  1. Print and complete the FA Direct Form and submit it to the Business Office or mail it to: PCC Business Office (SY CC 210), P.O. Box 19000, Portland, OR 97280-0990.
  2. Attach a voided blank check that is pre-imprinted with your bank account number.
  3. The authorization form must be submitted 10 days before the beginning of the term to be valid for that term.
