Proctored Examinations for Distance Education

Proctored Examinations for Distance Education classes are available with proctors at the Southeast and CAPITAL centers. For more information, contact the testing proctor at one of the following locations:

Procedures to arrange for testing

Student

  1. Student arranges with instructor to take test at one of our centers
  2. Student contacts testing proctor for that center and arranges a time to take the test
  3. Student informs instructor of time and location of test
  4. Student arrives fifteen minutes ahead of time to take the test
  5. There is a $25 proctoring fee for non-PCC Distance Education; payable with cash or check.

Instructor

  1. Arranges with student to take the test at one of our centers
  2. Instructor sends a paper test and the cover sheet with test specifics via inter campus mail to the testing proctor at least two days ahead of the test

Testing proctor

  1. Checks student ID and has student sign in
  2. Locks up any student personal belongings that are not allowed in the testing room
  3. Proctors the test
  4. Sends the test back to the instructor address on the cover sheet
