Service-Learning Courses

Volunteers at the Chehelam Youth & Family Services Center in Newberg, OR.Service-Learning courses include volunteer projects related to the course material. These projects help students better understand the subject through first hand experience, allow students to participate in community problem solving, and engage students with issues of values, leadership, and civic engagement. Students who complete three or more Service-Learning courses may apply for the Service-Learning Focus Award.

Courses are designated as either Service-Learning Option or Service-Learning Required. Students will want to contact specific instructors for more details on their course service-learning requirements.

The list of courses in the Class Schedule may not be a comprehensive list of all Service-Learning courses offered that term.
