Community Service... we’re all about that!
Join PCC Students & Staff as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary and reach for our goal of 50,000 hours of community service!
There are three easy ways to get involved:
- Participate in a 50th Anniversary Day of Service. Events are listed below and don't forget to register!
- Sign the 50-hour pledge to volunteer 50 hours of community service during the year.
- Tell us about your personal volunteer hours online.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Service to the Parks/Neighborhood - February 25th
Join us for a day of service with verious options across the PCC district. We will be serving in three locations on Saturday, February 25th. Space is limited at each location, so please register early in order to participate.
- Where/What:
- Marquam Park: Restoration and Urban Forest Renewal (SW Portland - 12th and Gaines)
- Chantal Village Park: Restoration and Invasive Species Removal (Aloha - 185th and Baseline)
- Boise Neighborhood: Tree Planting with Self Enhancement Inc. Academy student (NE Portland)
- When:
- Saturday, February 25th, 9am to 12:00 noon
OTHER PROJECTS TO GET INVOLVED:
PCC Rock Creek will collect and deliver 5,000 pounds of donated books to the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville. The district-wide effort is part of PCC’s 50th anniversary celebration. If you have books to donate and would like to learn more, visit the BookMark Project website.
