Sylvania Intramurals

A picture of a soccer intramural eventWelcome to the PCC Sylvania Intramurals web page. Here you can find out what intramural events are happening on the Sylvania campus, what types of facilities are available for open recreation and what type of recreational equipment is available for students, faculty and staff to check out.

The goal of intramural activity is to provide a variety of opportunities for the college community to participate and have fun with their peers in a recreational environment. Participation doesn't require superior skill levels or previous sport experience; there is a place for everyone from the novice to the advanced competitor. Activities are co-ed in nature and designed to offer a fun break in the daily school schedule.  Participants must be a student, and a faculty or staff member of PCC to be eligible for participation.

Individual On-Going Events

Check out the Intramural Bulletin Board by the HT Issue Room to sign-up for the following events:

Walkyerbunzoph:
At the beginning of each term, write your name down and keep track of how many miles you walk per day. This event relies on the honor system, but if you need help estimating how many miles you have actually walked, stop by the issue room and check out a pedometer. GET OUT THERE AND WALKYERBUNZOPH!
Lapbusters:
At the beginning of each term just sign your name and make sure to keep track of how many laps you swim per day to win a great prize! This activity is open to all PCC staff and students. Make sure to check out the recreation swim times on the Facility Schedule so you can get in the pool and bust out those laps. Stop by the issue window and check out a pair of goggles if you can't find your own.
