One-day permits are valid for one vehicle, only on the date indicated on the permit. Holders of these permits may only park in the general parking areas. These permits are valid in disabled spaces only when all valid authorizations are displayed. One-day permits are considered void if the date is not visible.
There are two types of one-day permits:
- Permits from Vending Machines located in parking lots
- They take coins and $1.00 bills. At each facility there's a machine that also takes VISA and MasterCard. These permits are valid only on the day of purchase, and the current date is automatically imprinted on the permit at the time of issue. Display dispensed permits on the driver's side of the dashboard with the date imprint facing up.
- Convenient Scratch-Off Permits
- One-day scratch-off permits may be purchased in any quantity. To validate these permits, scratch off the coating for the specific day, month and year. Scratch-off permits are to be hung from the rear view mirror with the scratch-off side facing outward. Permit must be removed before driving the vehicle. Scratch-off permits are available at any campus business office or bookstore.
Senior Parking Permits
If you are a student 62 or older, when classes begin, you are eligible to receive a 50% discount when purchasing either a One-Term Parking Permit or a Monthly Permit. Discount is not applicable to purchase of scratch-off permits or to purchase of a daily permit. Nor is discount available to employees of PCC. Permits may be purchased through any campus business office, or ordered on-line. The discount will be automatically applied to your account after ordering on-line.
Return of Permits
Your account will be credited if you return your permit to the business office by the end of the second week of the term.
Lost or Stolen Permits

- First Occurrence:
- No fee
- Additional Occurrences:
- Full Term price
Recovered permits must immediately be turned in to Parking and Transportation Services. If you're caught displaying a permit that has been reported lost or stolen, you'll be fined $50.00.
