PCC honors and celebrates diversity in many ways. Faculty and staff can help point you to resources both on and off campus. Check the Events Calendar, located on the
tab in MyPCC
for multicultural programs, speakers, celebrations and ways to get involved. In addition, ASPCC (Associated Students of Portland Community College) sponsors a number of multicultural clubs every year on each campus.
Multicultural Center
PCC offers multicultural programming, services and events on each campus. The Sylvania campus is home to the Multicultural Center. Find more information on the center by going to their webpage, found on the
tab in the Student Services channel inside MyPCC.
Women’s Resource Centers
The Women’s Resource Centers offer a variety of services for students including: leadership opportunities for women, scholarship information, events and personalized help with entering college. To get more information, visit their webpage found on the
tab in the Student Services channel inside MyPCC.
Safe Space
Seeing the Safe Space sticker around campus designates that space as a SAFE SPACE for for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning individuals. The emblem indicates a willingness and commitment to provide an atmosphere of support and affirmation for persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender variances.
