Zoom is a simple web conferencing app that has the tools you need to engage your students in a variety of educational opportunities. Attendees can easily join your sessions via their mobile devices or from their computer, and has all the features you have need, such as screen sharing, recording, etc!

My Media in Brightspace
Use My Media to create short webcam videos, record your screen, record a podcast, or host your own media on the Kaltura Server. Captions can be added to your videos. You can then easily embed inside your class.

PowerPoint (Recording Tab)
PowerPoint fully integrated the Office Mix plugin into its product as part of a “Recording Tab.” From this tab you can screencast, insert webcam video footage, insert quizzes, add clickable links, etc. to create interactive presentation videos for your students. This functionality is only available on a Windows PC and requires Office 2016 or 365.

Video Note in Brightspace
Use Video Note to create short videos and embed audio and video media inside the Discussions and Assignments tools in D2L. These recordings are should be for single-term use because they are only stored for a limited amount of time.

VoiceThread
VoiceThread is a voice collaboration tool within D2L Brightspace. You can create, upload, and share media presentations, documents, images, audio, and video. Comments can be left using a microphone, webcam, text, phone, or audio-file upload. VoiceThreads can be used for individual or group assignments and discussions.
