What is Student Web Server?
The Student Web Server (SWS) is an web server that is used by some classes at PCC. The primary purpose of the SWS is to serve as an area for students to upload and view assignments and coursework.
Accessing the Student Web Server
Secure FTP Client
You will need a Secure FTP client to access the student web server. FileZilla is the recommended SFTP client. You can download Filezilla from the open source project’s website.
Username and Password
The username for the SWS is not the same as your MyPCC username. The SWS Username Calculator will help you find your SWS account.
Your password for the SWS will be your PCC ID number.
Note: You must enter your entire student ID number including a capitol G in the password field: G0123456.
